A party?
Is it mandatory?
My new uniform arrived today, thankfully. I think the old has about had it.
I am not so sure about all of these pieces, though. It seems a bit much.
A capelet? And buttoned boot things? (I do not know the English word for them. Gamaschen).
{Outfit design for Niklaus Koertig :D This was a lot of fun u-u) /}
(Oh my GAWD you are the most amazing person ;w; )
He was just turning off the hot plate he kept for times like this when he arrived, already dressed in his flannels for bed as he hurried over to open his bedroom door for him. “Augh, mein Liebe, you look awful. Come, sit.” he insisted as he took the box from him, closing the door behind him after ushering him inside.

There’s something morbidly fascinating about staring down at your own corpse.
Would you look at that?
“Heh.”
The newest Medic has come into the room, and is sitting at his desk, right now, Mother. Can you see him? He’s a fairly decent man. Very smart, quite brilliant, but lacks a social warmth at times.
“Heh hehhhh… hehh…”
Oh, Dear Mother, we have company now. Isn’t that wonderful? Isn’t that grand? We have company now, we’re not alone anymore.
It’s always a good thing, yes.
“Kyehhhhehhhhh hehhhhh…”
You shouldn’t be alone when you’re terrified of yourself.
He swallowed thickly, turning only his eyes up to the cackling freakshow across the room, his typing fingers freezing in place.
Oh this was bad, very bad. At least to him it was. He may have known Aldous but it had been a while since he had spent any significant amount of time with him.
And for good reason, it seemed. He hoped he wouldn’t be in here alone with him for long.
He was only going to the ward to drop off some work he had taken back to his room that evening, wanting to leave it there so it would be ready in the morning. Aldous was in the Medbay tonight so he had planned to go and spend the rest of the evening ‘comfortably’.
Though as he reached out to push the door open his fingertips had hardly touched the metal panel when he heard talking. Pausing, he held his breath, leaning his head forward near where the double doors met to try and see if he could make out the words better.
‘Vhat else do you need?’
My, he sounded chipper. He couldn’t have been talking to one of their patients, he hadn’t addressed a single one of them kindly since their arrival. Perhaps he had taken a liking to one of them?
As he pushed the door open and caught the tail end of the Medic’s conversation he realized just how grisly it really was. Was he really talking to that skull? Had he not known Aldous before he would have probably written it off as a joke.
Sadly, this wasn’t the case.
He tried no to stare, heading over to the opposite end of the ward to place his folder on it’s clear surface, then proceeded to make himself comfortable. If the other Medic was going to be like this he had better not leave him alone with their patients.
And he was looking forward to a nice, relaxing night.
With a quiet sigh he pulled over the small keyboard to the just as small computer, figuring he might as well send a message and inform him that he wasn’t going to be able to see him tonight.
